Practical feed back

In the group crib for my practical i presented my ideas to the group and the feed back i got was: 

-they liked the idea of exploring typography in film posters as they thought that they are purply image based and would like to see something different, but said to consider audience as it might not make it as an official poster but more of an art piece
- if i was to choose the film poster idea they suggested to make a large range

-they suggested looking at leeds 2023 as the typography doesn't match what it is saying) 

- try to use a typeface in the way it is perceived, e.g. Chinese style typeface for a Chinese poster and see if it is appropriate to the culture (most times it isn't)
- focus on how type is used in graphic design to keep the link with dissertation.

From this feedback i have decided to go with the idea of taking Film posters and designing them so that they concentrate more on the typography not the imager. This will link with my dissertation and my research as i have already researched the uses of typography and who designers use them to communicate.
